Based in Aberdeen, Ean Jones has owned XS Promotions since 1995, and the business has established itself throughout the North of Scotland (and in many other parts of Scotland) as a leading entertainment agency, particularly in the field of private functions and weddings.
XS Promotions became a member full member of the Agents’ Association (est. 1927) back in 1997, being the first agency in the North of Scotland to have achieved this in the Association’s long and distinguished history, and XS Promotions is currently still the only Agents' Association member in the North of Scotland today.
In Early 2009 Ean teamed up with Simon Stevenson, formerly a wedding DJ who had worked extensively for XS Promotions, and has performed all across the UK for almost 25 years. Simon brought additional expertise to XS Promotions as well as the discipline and drive acquired from his previous main job with the RAF. He now works full time with XS Promotions.
The artists we represent fall into a fairly wide variety of entertainment categories but all have the common denominator of quality, reliability and professionalism. We're really happy with the people we represent, although of course we're always looking for new talent to add to the portfolio, providing they fulfil all expectations.
Our business principles are simple: we always negotiate a fair deal between the venue and the artist.
We issue agreements that are clear, concise, and adhere to the guidelines of the Agents’ Association.
We issue the same agreements to both venue and artist: what the client signs is what the artist signs.
As the first ever member of the Agents’ Association (GB) to be accepted from the North East of Scotland since its conception in 1927, we always adhere to the rules laid down by this established and respected organisation – the benchmark of professional standards, behaviour and etiquette within our industry.
Our simple approach is to keep both our clients and artists happy. We consider ourselves friendly, approachable, communicative, open-minded and dedicated to provide a quality service to everybody concerned.
