Ever since she shot to worldwide acclaim with her hit single ‘Kids in America’, Kim Wilde has been one of the most famous musicians on the planet. She has now put out 12 albums and sold more than 30 million records with some of the biggest hits of the eighties amongst them. These include ‘You Came’, ‘Four Letter Word’ and ‘Cambodia.’ In 1983 Kim was voted the best British Female Singer at the BPI Awards, and supported Michael Jackson on his Bad tour, and David Bowie on his 1990 Greatest Hits tour. After a break from live touring in the nineties, Kim re-emerged in 2001 with many much talked about shows and a new album on EMI Germany in 2006. Come Out And Play follow in 2010 and again spawned many great new singles. In 2015 and 2016 Kim has had her own radio show on Magic FM that keeps her connected with fans, and she continues to play live all across the world from Holland to Australia. Albums like 2013’s Wilde Winter Songbook also prove she still knows how to write and sing big hits, and tracks like ‘Hey Mister Snowman’ entered many radio playlists soon after release. In her time Kim has also put out albums of covers such as Snapshots, and many sell out world tours have kept her at the top of the pops. A real musical treasure with fans all over the globe, Kim Wilde is still very much a force to be reckoned with.
