This popular traditional jazz sextet was formed six years ago and comprises of drums, bass, banjo, trumpet, clarinet and trombone. One member provides additional vocals (when allowed to sing!).
Their material covers the popular music of the 1920's and 1930's, faithfully portraying the 'trad jazz' Dixieland and New Orleans sounds of those decades.
Ever popular at festivals, outdoor events, RAF bases, weddings and private functions, they have recently appeared at the Banchory, Girvan and Glasgow Jazz Festivals, Peterhead and Fraserburgh Galas, Aberdeen Tall Ships Race, most Scottish RAF bases and a variety of top venues including Aberdeen's Lemon Tree and The Playhouse. |
