THE BILLY SHEARS BAND is one of the most authentic tribute Beatles bands on the live circuit.
The band are not like many Beatles tributes, with wigs and the uniforms, but accurately recreate live the authentic vocals, harmonies and sounds of the Beatles from the early mop top days to the phsycadelic era of the late 60s and early 70s.
Formed in 1995, the band has played to enthusiastic audiences in New York City, Beatles conventions in Liverpool, Abu Dhabi, as well as huge local gigs in Aberdeen such as the new years gigs at the Castlegate and live on Northsound Radio at their yearly "Free at the Dee" open air gigs.
