Shona Mcvey is probably the UK’s leading Dusty Springfield tribute show, and what makes this show so special is that Shona is herself a massive fan of the music, and of Dusty herself. And with Shona having a very similar tone, strength, and even intonation to Dusty herself, it was an obvious direction to take for her to tribute the star herself.

The portrayal is genuine and heartfelt, and this shines through in every Dusty song she sings. And of course there are plenty of songs to choose from, as Dusty Springfield was one of the most prolific female singers of the British 1960’s pop explosion, as well as having massive global success, including the USA.

During her show you can expect to hear all the Dusty Springfield classics including “Son Of A Preacher Man”, “Wishin’ And Hoping”, “I Only Want To Be With You”, “In The Middle Of Nowhere”, “How Can I Be Sure”, “I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself”, and of course the worldwide #1 hit “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me”.

In the 1980’s, Dusty had a resurgence (and exposure to an entire new generation) when she duetted with the Pet Shop Boys on the international hit “What Have I Done To Deserve This”, and to this day Dusty Springfield remains a highly respected and influential musical artist.
