XSP Entertainments is an Entertainment Agency based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

We specialise in providing live music for corporate functions and weddings, tribute shows, after dinner speakers and comedians.

Formed in 2015, The Franchise are made up of local guys all with a passion for music. Each member brings their own personality, skills and experience to the varied set list to give you the best and most memorable covers around. In addition to their extensive set list, ranging from the classics to modern day hits to ceilidh, these lads are happy to take requests for your event.

Alan, Steve, Rob and Chris, each member of this band has been playing their instrument for years and had have all been part of successful bands and as solo artists.

After playing the cello in school, Steve moved on to play bass and from 1997 was playing in bars and clubs in Aberdeen. Until joining the band After Hrs in 2013, he played in various bands performing both original material and covers. In 2015 he became one of the founding members of The Franchise and contributes to their dynamic sounds. With influences of the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton he will rock your night away.

Rob has been playing the drums for the last 15 years, playing in many bands with varying genres from jazz to progressive rock. The Franchise is Rob's return to the industry after leaving to have a family.

Chris has now been playing the guitar for 15 years and has played with bands covering genres like blues, rock, classical and metal. Having completed music exams at high grades (8+) he also spent some of this time teaching and sharing his skills with other people. He now lends his skill to The Franchise to play a wide variety of songs for your event.

Alan, who plays keyboard and does vocals, is a singer/songwriter who has recorded two solo albums of original material; "What's in a Name?" (2004) and "Read Between the Lines" (2006). Having also been in the cover band "Earth" with friends from school from 1997-2011 he has plenty of experience in the music business.
