FT. DJ SIMON STEVENSON

Graham Geddes is probably the most recognised name on the North of Scotland corporate and wedding scene, and has been a full time solo performer and band leader for many years, having started his career at the tender age of 14 by making his name as a ‘child genius accordion player’ who regularly featured on Grampian Television.

By the age of 16 he was a bandleader in his own right, and recently celebrated over 40 years in the music business, having consistently entertained at the highest level, including at Grand Balls in palaces for members of the royal family, large Aberdeen civic and society events in exhibition centres, stately homes, and castles, and as the frontman with the Graham Geddes Band for thousands of wedding couples and at countless corporate events throughout the North of Scotland.

As the frontman of the Graham Geddes Band, he had always had various strings to his bow. He is an excellent vocalist performing floor fillers from the 60’s to modern chart hits, and as an accomplished accordionist he is also capable of playing (and calling) all the popular ceilidh dances, as well a comprehensive selection of the lesser played Scottish country dances for the more dedicated ceilidh lovers.

And if this wasn't enough, he is excellent on the microphone and brilliant with any audience, and is also an extremely talented sax player! During the evening he usually performs a dedicated sax feature which audiences absolutely love, but he can also be booked to play an hour of background music during the afternoon or early evening with the popular show he calls ‘Sax ‘n’ Trax’.

However, during the pandemic everything changed when couple of members of his band retired, and Graham decided to head in a new and exciting direction, teaming up with top DJ Simon Stevenson and therefore providing the ‘complete package’ which can run from 7.30pm until 1am and which provides ‘something for everyone’, with a whole new repertoire of music being added to Graham’s own already extensive song list.

Simon is one of the most experienced DJ's in Scotland, having performed at over at over 2,500 events and counting. 
He understands an audience and will keep your dancefloor bouncing all night, overing everything from current chart hits to rock 'n' roll, slotting in requests at exactly the right moment, and engaging with the audience from start to finish.

Simon isn't just a DJ, he is an entertainer.  And addition he's a genuinely nice guy who will ensure your wedding, corporate event, or private party is remembered for years to come.  He prides himself on the high quality of his equipment, and also has interactive DJ lighting suitable both for his own DJ performance, and stage lighting for Graham’s performance.
