Raymond Mearns is one of Scotland’s most respected comedians and after-dinner entertainers, renowned for his razor-sharp wit, natural storytelling ability and brilliantly observational humour. A hugely experienced live performer, Raymond has built a loyal following across comedy clubs, corporate events, awards dinners and theatres throughout the UK.

Born and raised in Glasgow, Raymond first came to prominence on the Scottish comedy circuit during the 1990s and quickly established a reputation as a unique and instantly recognisable voice. While comparisons to Billy Connolly have followed him throughout his career, Raymond’s humour is very much his own — warm, quick-thinking, intelligent and packed with relatable everyday observations.
